Software developer European Pirates are looking for a creative visionary to further expand our technical proficiency. As a Software developer you will be called upon to perform a multitude of tasks including: * create new innovative software tools for the needs of Pirates in the European Parliament; * improve existing Free Software tools to better suit our needs and work with the Free Software community; * look for innovative ways to communicate with voters and citizens; * help with deployment and maintenance; * prepare documentation; * English language communication. We expect: * flexibility, innovativeness, and creativity; * experience with the same or similar work; * good knowledge of GNU/Linux, Python, Django, SQL, HTML5, CSS, Git; * knowledge of LDAP, SSO and Linux containers is an advantage; * experience in social media, data mining, data visualization or deep-learning is an advantage; * personal integrity and professional approach to work; * passion for work with open technologies, especially Free and Open Source Software; * experience with contributing to Free Software projects is an advantage; * enthusiasm for working in an international team; * full support for transparency in public affairs as well as deep respect for privacy in personal matters. The first round is done by evaluating the CV, motivation and previous experience. The second round is realized in the form of practical verification of the requirements. The evaluation is carried out by an evaluation committee composed of representatives of the MEP and the Human Resources Department. Third round is a personal interview. An applicant who has successfully completed the second round may be invited to the third round (interview) for other positions listed in the Group.
